Foils give control and lift close to the root; balayage gives a softer grow-out and less upkeep. Most people are better off with a mix of the two, and which mix depends on how much regrowth you can live with and how often you can get back in. We place around your part and how you actually wear it rather than to a diagram. Every lightening service finishes with a gloss to set the tone, and every one gets a written price before the first section is taken.

$210 to $460

A half head of foils starts at $210, a full head at $290, balayage from $260, and a full head with a heavy correction of the ends up to $460. Length and density move the number, and you get it in writing first.

02How it runs

Step by step, in this order

Typical time: 2 to 4 hours. You are told which step you are on.

  1. 01 Agree placement, depth and a written price
  2. 02 Section and apply with a bond protector in the mix
  3. 03 Process and check every ten to fifteen minutes
  4. 04 Rinse, tone with a finishing gloss
  5. 05 Blow-dry, finish and book the next visit

How often do I need to come back?

Foils around the part need touching up every eight to ten weeks. Balayage can stretch to four or five months. We write the timeline on your card so you can plan around it.

Can you get me blonde in one visit?

Sometimes. If your hair has old box colour in it, or it is already fragile, the honest answer is two or three visits. We will tell you which one you are at the consultation.

Is a patch test needed?

Yes for any new colour client, at least 48 hours before. We can do it while you are in for a cut.
