A double cleanse to get product and hard-water residue out, then a scalp massage worked through the hairline, crown and nape while the conditioner does its job. The extended version adds a scalp exfoliation, which is the one thing that reliably helps if your roots go flat and greasy within a day of washing in a Brisbane summer. It is a standalone booking if you want it on its own, and it is already included in the time for every cut and colour, not squeezed out of it.

  • Double cleanse with a clarifying first wash
  • Ten minute scalp massage through hairline, crown and nape
  • Conditioner or mask chosen to your scalp, not your lengths
  • Scalp exfoliation on the extended version
  • Towel dry and a comb through with a leave-in

The standard basin service is $45. The extended version with scalp exfoliation and the longer massage is $75. Both are already included in the time for any cut, colour or treatment booking.

Step by step, in this order

Typical time: 20 to 25 minutes, 35 minutes extended. You are told which step you are on.

  2. 02 First wash to clear residue, second wash to treat
  3. 03 Massage worked through while the conditioner sits
  4. 04 Rinse cool, blot dry, comb through with a leave-in

Can I book just the wash and massage?

Yes. Plenty of people book it on its own on a Thursday evening. It takes about 25 minutes and we will rough dry you afterwards at no extra cost.

Will the scalp exfoliation help with an itchy scalp?

Often, if the cause is build-up. If the itch is a skin condition we will say so and suggest you see a GP or a dermatologist rather than sell you more products.

Is it included with a cut?

Yes. Every cut and colour includes the double cleanse, the massage and a conditioning treatment. We do not treat it as an upsell.
